Mats Wahl was born in 1945 in Malmö (Sweden), he lives in Stockholm and he is one of the most renowned authors in the field of Swedish children and young adults’ literature.
He has published numerous novels for adults and young adults, science-spreading books, theater plays, television series and a film, and he has been awarded with important literary prizes, among them we can emphasize the Nils Holgerson Medal and the German young adults’ literature award, given in 1996 to his book Winter Bay.
