"Open field" is the story of a little rabbit that has gone out with his father to run in the field, as it happens once a week, despite the constant fear of the fox appearance.
This time, however, Nick, the little rabbit, falls behind and he dares not go on to his den. Hidden in the grass, he waits for the dark of night to go through the open field, preventing being noticed and devoured by the fox.
In his solitude, with his fear, he relies on his father coming back for him. But finally it is not his father who comes to help him.
A beautiful story about fear and courage, about assumed brave heroes and real heroes, illustrated with a gentle, dreamy and mysterious colour scheme.
“An excellent story that encourages both our sight and our mind” (CLIJ).
