Countless animals die every day in slaughter houses, during research experiments, inside traps and nets, by means of firearms or after being abandoned. If we are really worried about animal welfare, where do we draw the line of what it is acceptable? Do we refuse to eat beef but we eat chicken? Do we become vegetarians but we use leather? Do we carelessly take a medicine that can be previously tested on animals?
We must know the facts in order to decide what we really think about these issues. Hunting, circus, dolphins, genetic engineering, intensive farming, bullfighting, vivisection, wars… more than a hundred questions regarding the issue are showed in alphabetical order, with updated information and statistics. At the end of each chapter there is an answer to a very important question: What can you do about this?
